The World of KAHUNA

Writing KAHUNA has been the most enjoyable experience of my life. I’ve heard tell that many authors have a love/hate relationship with their books and characters. Not me. Writing them is pure pleasure. There’s no place I’d rather be. Every night when I go to sleep, I say a prayer that I’ll wake up in the world of Vox, Valentina, the Goat, Achilles, and all the rest. Of course, I’m not sure how long I’d last with gronkoluxes, chupacabras, vöspyrnatus, and vormogs running around, but it would doubtlessly be the adventure of a lifetime.

Volume 2 is currently under construction and is set in the enchanting Hawaiian isles. Though I’m not as much of a drunk as Vox, I’ve managed to fit in some playtime along with rigorous research on the area’s history, food, culture, folklore, and legends so I can bring as much locality as possible to the novel. Since all the books in the series will have at least one scene at a strip club, I also have a couple of those on my list to visit. If you see me, stop by for a beer and a laugh.
